Bruce Rogers
Architect, Lighting Designer, Principal

Bruce's responsibilities center around interior architectural design, the production of programmatic data, and design materials and technical drawings required for client communication and contract documents for construction or fabrication.

Bruce received his Bachelor's degree in Theatre Design and Technology in 1976 from the University of Kansas, where he also did graduate work in Theatre.  He received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1989.  During his career, Bruce has taught in theatre and interior design; worked as scenery and lighting designer and technical director in the theatre; served as technical director of city convention facilities in two cities; and was a technical theatre consultant before studying architecture.

Bruce is a seasoned design professional, an excellent communicator and a skillful, detail-oriented technical designer.  He is an experienced project architect working in design and construction of commercial and residential interiors with particular emphasis in technical design and coordination and construction administration. He was the construction project manager for a 250-bed hospital, and a project architect working in commercial interiors.  He has designed and detailed hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial office space, where he developed specialties in millwork and construction detailing as well as lighting design.  He has designed a wide range of residential projects, from simple kitchen renovations to full build-out condominiums. His mentoring work style promotes long-term client and contractor relationships.
